3 Tbs reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 Tbs tomato paste (less if using double concentrated)
2 tsp Chinkiang rice vinegar (can replace with balsamic)
1/2 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp reduced-sodium soy sauce
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper (two small pods)
1 clove garlic, pressed
Mix all ingredients, crushed red pepper to taste.
